We’re excited to announce the expansion of Elevate's commercial roofing solutions now featuring 3M™ Smog-Reducing Granules, a game-changing technology that transforms your roof into a tool for environmental impact.
These granules use a photocatalytic coating activated by sunlight to help reduce smog-causing nitrogen oxides (NOx) in the atmosphere. The process converts harmful pollutants into water-soluble salts, which are safely washed away by rain, allowing the granules to regenerate and continue purifying the air over the life of the roof.
To put it in perspective, just 20,000 square feet of roofing material using these granules can offer the smog-fighting power of 120 trees.
